Retirement Plan Designations

Michael Smith has obtained the following professional designation:

Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC). QPFC is the professional credential for experienced financial professionals who sell, advise, market or support qualified retirement plans. The QPFC program provides an understanding of retirement planning concepts, terminology, distinctive features of qualified plans and the role of retirement plan professionals. To obtain the QPFC designation, one must pass four exams. Once the credential has been successfully obtained, the designee is required to participate in extensive continuing education.
